$3.5 Billion Accounting Error

South Carolina Senate investigates $3.5 Billion accounting error by South Carolina Comptroller General Richard Eckstrom. The problem started back in 2007 with a $12 million coding error and has snowballed to $3.5 Billion.  The error led to a double counting of the money transferred to State Colleges and Universities.  You can read the full story here.
